Cherokee Village

For more than four years Venice Tucker Rains has called Cherokee Village "Home."  She feels comfortable, safe, and secure with her personal and memorable home furnishings in her room.  Her family can rest and be at peace knowing her needs are taken care of by the staff and administration.  Venice enjoys being able to leave the facility to visit family or go out to eat, but she is glad to go back to her "home" at the Village.  She joins other residents for activities such as Bingo, Sing-alongs, Sunday School, Mission Group, and festive Birthday parties.  It is convenient to have her hair done at "home."  Venice no longer worries about meal preparation, housekeeping, yard work, or taking medicine properly.  Approaching the age of 96, Venice and her family appreciates the opportunity to have the availability of Cherokee Village and being able to call it "home" not far from her real home.
